300 pages, 20 papers, three road logs

This guidebook contains papers on the natural gas, CO2, and Helium resources of Wyoming. Field studies include Hay Reservoir and a discussion of the Madden Field confirmation well. Geophysical papers cover seismic interpretation of the Patrick Draw-Table Rock area, the Dakota sands on the Moxa Arch, upper Almond gas sands in Dripping Rock Field, and depth imaging and electric log interpretation of point-bar deposits. Natural gas resource papers cover coalbed methane in Wyoming as well as gas resources in the Greater Green River Basin and the Powder River Basin. Other papers include drilling and completion methods in the Frontier overpressured gas sands, and marketing and pipelines in Wyoming. Of special interest are papers on CO2 on the Moxa Arch, gas seeps in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and helium resources of Wyoming. Road logs include the Muddy Sandstone in the Wind River Basin, the Haystack Mountain Formation (Mesa Verde and Cody equivalents) in the Hanna Basin, and the Amoco Bairoil (Lost Soldier and Wertz fields) CO2 project.
